Michaelchurch Escley (St Michael) Herefordshire.

The cracked tenor of this 1732 Rudhall ring of five was repaired and the bells rehung on new fittings. A new treble (a Rudhall clone) was designed and tuned in our works, but cast by Emanuele Allanconi, to match the old style harmonics of the original five. This was the first Italian bell to be cast for us by Emanuele, and now forms the Village War Memorial. The original frame was extended to take the additional bell. You can hear part of the test ring here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsPmpR0u2Qg and here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZwJ-vvf1bQ&t=15s
