Wells Cathedral (St Andrew) Somerset.

We have been working with Cliveden Conservation on the restoration of the famous clock face. The two Quarter Jack bells have been cleaned and have had their cast-in crown staples carefully removed. The bells have been rehung with all new supporting strapwork, which have been made from stainless steel. The new strapwork has been isolated from the bell metal , to reduce the risks of bimetallic corrosion.
